Once upon a time, in a small town by the name of Los Angeles, a young boy was born with ten fingers and ten toes. This beautiful child was the product of a surrogate mother, and two parents very hell bent on starting their family, even in the midst of their busy careers and on the morning of December 25th, 1987, Sean David Williams was brought into a room with 2 nurses, a doctor and his surrogate mother. A healthy 7 pounds 8 ounces and 21 inches long, Sean cried his first cry at 8:34 PM while the doctors marveled at just how perfect this baby truly was. On December 26th, little Sean met his mother and father for the first time. Both parents loved their little boy dearly and as much as Sean loved them, he found himself oddly detached through most of his childhood. However, Michelle, she was everything to young Sean and in the boys eyes, she was his true mother. She was the one to birth him and to care for him while both parents were away. She was his life and the reason he even had one.
By the age of 17, Sean found himself resenting his parents and the life that they led. He didn't care if his father continued to appear in B-rated movies and it never mattered how many photo shoots his mother did wearing designer clothes, he was nothing like them. He enjoyed simple things and would have rather no money then the way he had been raised. What is a life full of money when there is no love? Michelle taught Sean to express his emotions through art and music. Not through how beautiful you were and how much money you had. Finally, he had had enough and simply could not take it any more. With endless days of begging and pleading, Sean convinced his mother (Michelle), to flee the vast LA life with him and move far across the country. She would do anything to make her little boy happy and finally agreed to pack up their things and leave. Sean left his parents one last message taped to their wardrobe and left his "glamorous" Hollywood life, moving to a wonderful town by the name of longport, New Jersey and sealing the deal off with a name change, officially becoming Shawn David Monroe.
Renting a two bedroom apartment, him and his mother set up a life for themselves that they couldn't be any happier with. He now attends community college and works two jobs to pay for it, anything is better than having money handed to you. His mother works at the local diner and everything she had saved while working for Shawn's real parents now goes to help the two make ends meet. He loves ripped jeans and dirty clothes. He prefers making money to spending it and to him his birthday and Christmas is just another day. He wouldn't be caught owning anything that's a ridiculous sum of money, with the exception of his electric guitar, the one thing he kept from his old life. Shawn despises money and usually the people who have it, granted he's not completely poor himself, he would prefer people think he was homeless to knowing anything about his past. His biggest fear is one day his parents will find him and expect him to be part of their lives once again. Shawn has worked so hard to get away from that life, there is no way he's going back.
